Audrey loves flopping about on cushions and bedding, not to mention flicking switches and turning knobs. Surely classic baby pastimes. She's wearing her Emus (we all wear them here) and her knee patch pants and merino jersey.
So are Emus for Kiwis and Uggs for Australians? Adorable photos! Makes me want to pinch her cheeks. I have on my to do list to buy Freddie a new toothbrush today ... I don't even know what he's been doing to it. He's like a very naughty puppy who steals pillows, shoes and won't stay out of the trash.
Tera - Both Ugg and Emu are Australian. From what I understand Ugg is moving/has moved production to China (sigh) which left a lot of machinists back in Australia redundant (if I have this wrong do tell). Emu was born, utilising alot of those redundant workers, and all of their products are made in Australia. I know which I would rather buy! Emus are less expensive too, which is a bonus. They are very well constructed with a fibreglass(?) heel I understand (this stops them flopping).
What I find cheeky, generally speaking, is big companies moving their production to Asia but still commanding premium prices. They're obviously taking a much bigger cut and not passing any savings on to the customer.
And on the toothbrush note, I chew mine to bits too so it's no wonder Lucy and Audrey do too! I say it's better that happens than it looking brand new months down the track. At least they're usin' it!
