wayne pate | rebecca taylor

I noticed Wayne Pate's prints in a magazine last year but wasn't aware of his online store until reading a recent copy of Elle Decoration (UK). I adore birds and seem to like anything New York, so it makes perfect sense I like his work. And I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced they are.

Wayne Pate lives with his wife, New Zealand fashioner designer Rebecca Taylor, in a gorgeous brownstone in Brooklyn. I like her take on the breton top, which there's also a dress version of too.

  1. Love the stripe dress. I didn't notice the subtle shades of blue until closer inspection. Just lovely, and could it be inspiration for a child's version? I find t-shirt style dresses so practical (and cute) for little ones as they can wear them in so many different ways.

  3. i've seen that seagull print before but didn't think much more than, 'oh, cute!'. thanks to your links, i'm now completely smitten with everything, especially the pillows.

love rebecca taylor, especially her cardigans from a few years back. such pretty prints, and the breton top is both adorable and witty.
