denim and flashlights

New jeans this weekend based on the jumpsuit I made Lucy the other day. I found with the jumpsuit, that the myriad of buttons to undo at toilet time made for a somewhat taxing experience! It takes work to look good though, don't you think, and I think the slight inconvenience was worth it so long as I limited her fluids.

Also, as I was tidying Lucy's room today (which is an EVERYDAY experience) I stumbled upon a Barbie torch her friend had given her at Christmas. And she also found her BabyBanz - well, my sister found them left in her shop, so if they're yours call Lucy - so what better to do at bedtime, when it's dark, is put on your sunglasses and read by torchlight. A bit ironic, sunglasses and a flashlight, but such fun. We also chased each other round the room. It's great when you remember how to be a kid again (I'm referring to me here, not Lucy - she's a pro).
