Growing

Thank goodness for stretch fabrics. This Scanlan and Theodore top has been great lately, and I don't know how but these Citizens of Humanity jeans are still hanging in there. Lucy does get quite perturbed at the sight of my torn knee though, which I have been meaning to patch for, oh, a good year. 32 weeks now, where has it gone.... Stay put, baby, just a few more garments to sew.

  2. You look beautiful - I was about that size at 4 months (big babies) so I'm very envious of your cute little basketball! What a wonderful new year your family will have with the new addition.

  4. lucky you, still fitting into your jeans! i bought a pair of paige maternity denim, which has helped some but weren't the perfect solution that i had initially imagined them to be.

i am running out of shirts that are long enough. i have a few that will work, but i guess that means doing laundry more frequently. sigh.

31 weeks with sore ribs. too much to do, not enough time...

  5. Erica, these jeans are probably cursing me so don't think this is effortless! The top button is unbuttoned when driving, in fact it is unbuttoned everywhere but in public (where I then try to hide the discomfort from my expression).

Pity you're not so thrilled with your jeans. A friend bought either Citizens of Humanity or Seven maternity denim and lives in them, but (sounding economical n'all) you'd want to buy them earlier on in pregnancy and hope you'd be having another child so you could wear them again. I believe they cost as much as regular CoH/Seven jeans!

P.S. Every time I see that first shot of me (charming slouch) I see a beer gut rather than a pregnant stomach. I'm waiting for my Ma to say something too...

P.P.S. I am feeling the rib thing too.

P.P.P.S. I don't drink during pregnancy but was ecstatic when I found Clausthaler, a german 'non-alcoholic' beer that ‘contains less than 0.5% alcohol’. Ripper! It is summer here, and there's nothing better than a crisp beer, especially when you thought you couldn't have one. My nursing friend is just as excited as I am, and the general consensus is that it really does taste like a good beer.
